What can be entered?

Art produced by healthcare professionals using any current scanning technology involving all imaging radiography modalities (e.g. MRI, CT, ultrasound, etc.). Please see references below.

The subject can be scans of animals, plants and objects as well as the human form.

NOTE: human scans must be strictly taken for medical diagnostics and not for the sole purpose of making art.

Why are we doing this?

We want to celebrate the world of diagnostic art and honour healthcare professionals who are also artists. Our purpose is to:

– Unite the radiology community in art.
– Raise awareness and understanding about radiology technology and applications.
– Expose patients to the science of radiology, the hidden hero of medicine.
– Raise funds for Make-A-Wish Foundation, a philanthropic cause for sick children.

All selected art will be displayed online in the RadArt Gallery by Guerbet.

12 art pieces will be shortlisted as final. These will be used in the 2023 RadArt Gallery – calendar, printed and made available as a souvenir for fund raising.

Calendar sales will be contributed to Make-A-Wish International and help fulfill the wishes of children with a critical illness. Plus Guerbet will match the donation dollar-for-dollar*.

*up to USD8,000.

How will it be judged?

Entries will be selected by members of the radiology art community after the entry period ends. Their opinion will be influenced by voting, open to qualified healthcare professionals.

In case of any disputes or draws, Guerbet reserves the rights to make final decision.

What are the rules?

Healthcare professionals currently working in the field of radiology in Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Macao SAR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan ROC, Thailand and Viet Nam.

Not all images will be selected for the following round. Images are subject to Guerbet’s approval.

Images are to be uploaded in .jpg or .png format. Minimum file size is 2MB and the maximum file size is 16MB. Minimum image dimension is 2000 pixel width X 2000 pixel height (ideally 3000).

No edits can be made after submission (please contact Guerbet at radart@guerbet-communication.com to correct any errors).
